Comilla Victorians agree to rearrange abandoned matches

Due to the inclement weather in Dhaka influnced by the depression that formed over the Bay of Bengal, the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) authorities forced to reschedule the fourth edition of BPL. The T20 tournament will restart from November 8, Tuesday.

In the wake of this call, Comilla Victorians agree to play rematch which was abandoned in the AKS Bangladesh Premier League 2016 due to rain. It was heared earlier  that Comilla Victorians would not accept the proposal to play matches which was called of and they would be happy with the shared points. But now they are convinced to play those matches again, sources said.

After being the  abandoned matches of opening day’s of fourth season of Bangladesh Premier League, second day’s matches  were also  called off due to rain. As a result, BPL governing committee has opted to restart the tournament from November 8.

They also informed that if both teams are making commitment to play the abandoned matches they will arrange rematch according to the bylaws of BPL.

However, now the defending champion Comilla Victorians are wishing to play rematches and fighting for the all four points. They have ensured it on Social media. On their official facebook they posted, “Happy to announce that the Victorians will get a chance to play the abandoned matches! Let’s fight for those 4 points!!”

Comilla Victorians also mentioned the date of those two games. According to their post, Comilla Victorians will take on Dhaka Dynamites on 26 November and Rajshahi Kings on December 1.
